We're so excited about our technology-free children's area. It's got everything a child could ever want!
Frestival will not only be a day to learn more about free-from lifestyles and see some top Shropshire chefs in action but it will be a day for the family to be able to be free-from technology.
Children under 16-years-old can attend Frestival for free, with fee-paying adults.
Families will find plenty to entertain children with a straw swimming pool, junk modelling, mud kitchen, books, eco bricks and roving magicians and jugglers!
“Our entertainers are really interactive so children can get involved,” said organiser Ian Bebbington.
“We want to provide an area that children can enjoy but that allows them a bit of time free-from the technologies that we are all used to in our daily lives.
“Technology is part of our world now, at home and in schools and, of course, Frestival will have its technology - the screens for the cooking theatre and the sound systems for the cooking and lecture theatres.
“But our children’s area will be tech-free because we all know there is plenty of fun to be had with mud and straw and rubbish - so we intend to let them have it. We can’t wait to see the cardboard city too and know children will have great fun exploring it.”
Early-bird tickets for Frestival are now available on Eventbrite https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/frestival-2019-tickets-56798636250 at £6.40 in advance and will be £8 on the gate. Children under 16 are free
